Ford EcoSport :
The
Ford EcoSport is one of the most popular SUV in the line-up of Ford,
and it is available in six variants like Ambiente, Trend, Trend+,
Titanium, Titanium+ with recently launched S variant. The Ford
EcoSport, is available with price sticker of INR 7,82,000 –
11,89,000 (Ex-showroom in Delhi). Ford EcoSport comes with three
engine options like two petrol 1.5-liter Ti-VCT 123PS/ 150 Nm and
1.0-liter EcoBoost 125PS/170 Nm and one diesel (1.5-liter TDCI 100PS
/ 250 Nm). Transmission Mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed
automatic, the diesel comes standard with a 5-speed manual. The
safety features in the EcoSport include dual front airbags, ABS with
EBD, rear parking sensors as standard across the range.
Volkswagen Ameo :-
Volkswagen
Ameo was launched on 5 June 2016 by the German manufacturer
Volkswagen in Indian market. VW Ameo version is bringing new variants
including ten diesel and five petrol cars. It is powered by a
1.5-liter TDI Diesel Engine. Mated to a 5-Speed manual transmission,
the engine generate 108.62bhp of maximum power along with 250Nm of
peak torque. The Ameo petrol is powered by a 1.2-liter 12V MPI petrol
engine mated to a 5-Speed manual transmission, which is available
with the price tag of INR 5,72,000 – 10,02,000 lakh (Ex-showroom in
Delhi).
Ford Figo :-
The
Ford Figo was launched in the hatchback line-up in the Indian market
in March 2010 and by July 2010 there were 25,000 sales booking across
all variants. The Ford Figo is offered with three engine variants
including two petrol and one diesel. It is powered by a 1.2-litre
petrol engine which is capable of generating a maximum power of
88PS/111Nm. While the ARAI claimed mileage for this variant is
18.16kmpl and 25.83 kmpl in the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre
diesel, respectively. This Ford Figo is available with safety
features such as dual airbags standard, top-spec Titanium+ packs a
class-leading six airbags.
Honda Jazz :-
Honda
Jazz is a Japanese car manufacturer company offering 12 car variant
including 7 variant of petrol and 5 variant diesel like E,S,SV,V, and
VX which are the competitors of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai
Elite i20, Volkswagen Polo and the aging Fiat Punto EVO. The Honda
Jazz is powered by 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. The petrol
comes with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the diesel comes
standard with a 6-speed manual. Diesel variant give mileage of
27.3kmpl and petrol variant give 18.7kmpl. There’s no clarity on
the Jazz facelift. But in the Indian market updated model is expected
in 2018.
Hyundai
Grand i10 :-
Hyundai
Grand i10 was launched the September 2013 in Indian market. Which,
comes with a five door hatchback body style. The company is offering
9 variants including five variant petrol and four diesel variants of
this segment. Hyundai Grand i10 offered the features including a
7-inch touchscreen, android auto, automatic climate control with rear
AC vents and push-button start. For safety features on the car there
are side airbag as standard across the range and ABS as well. The
ARAI claimed mileage for this car is 18.9kmpl and 24kmpl for petrol
and diesel manual respectively.
Maruti
Suzuki Ignis :-
Maruti
Suzuki has launched the Ignis models line-up starting January 2018.
The company is offering 8 variants with included four variant diesel
and four variant petrol. It is powered by a 1.2-litre K-series petrol
engine and 1.3-litre DdiS diesel engine which mated an 5-speed manual
transmission gearbox, pumpus out 81.80bhp of maximum power petrol and
5-speed AMT transmission gearbox, transmission gearbox, pumps out
74bhp of maximum power diesel. While the ARAI claimed mileage for
petrol variant is 20.89 kmpl and diesel variant is 26.8 kmpl.
Highlights includes LED projector headlamps 15-inch alloy wheels and
7-inch touchscreen.
Tata
Tiago/Tigor :-
The
Tata Tiago is available with a price sticker of INR 3,35,000 –
6,00,000 lakh (Ex-showroom-delhi). The Tiago comes with same
1.2-litre (85PS/114Nm) petrol engine or a 1.05-litre(70PS/140Nm)
diesel motor. Both engine are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission
and petrol engine is also available with a 5-speed AMT automatic.
While the Tiago mileage for petrol variant is 23.84 kmpl and diesel
variant is 27.28 kmpl. Tata Motors has launched the Tigor Buzz, which
is available on the price sticker of INR 4,84,000 – 7,19,000 lakh
(Ex-showroom-delhi). The company offered 10 variant including five
variant petrol engine and five diesel variant and comes with two
engine options 1.2-litre petrol and 1.05-litre diesel. Both engine
mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and petorl also gets a 5-speed
AMT automatic option. The Tigor ARAI claimed mileage of 20.3kmpl and
24.7kmpl with petrol and diesel engines. The AMT''s fuel efficiency
is the same as its manual counterpart 20.3kmpl.
Renault Kwid :-
The
Renault Kwid was launched in May 2015 in Indian market. The Renault
Kwid comes in three versions, which two petrol engine options with
same 0.8-litre (54PS/72NM) and 1.0-litre (68PS/91Nm). While the
0.8-litre engine mated to a 5-speed manual and 1.0-litre is available
with an option of a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT automatic
transmission. The ARAI mileage for this Renault Kwid is a 0.8-litre
25.17kmpl, Renault Kwid 1.0-litre MT 23.01kmpl and 1.0-litre AMT
24.04kmpl. There are interesting features available such as 7-inch
touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, digital speedometer
and power steering.
Datsun Redi-GO :-

Redi-Go was launched on 14 April 2016 in Indian market, which comes
with a 5-door hatchback body style. It is available in five variant
and comes in two engine options 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre. The company
offers a Gold edition of the redi-Go which is available only with the
1.0L variant. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual
transmission. The redi-Go delivers claimed mileage of 22.7kmpl and
22.5kmpl for the 08-litre and 1.0-litre versions respectively. Other
than this, there are lots of feature list that includes body-coloured
bumpers, daytime running LED lights and wheel covers.
Tata Nano :-
Tata
Motor has launched the Nano line-up, which came in Indian market
January 2008 that is available on the price sticker of INR 2,36,000 –
3,35,000 lakh (Ex-showroom-delhi). The company is offering most
affordable car in india in five variants that comes in a 624cc petrol
engine that generates 38PS of power and 51Nm of torque. Mated to a
5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual AMT gearbox
transmission. Tata Nano features included such as powerful AC, front
wiper & washer, front fog, dual glove boxes, front power windows
and music system with bluetooth.
